What is the Hillcrest™ Series by Medallion Fence?

The Hillcrest™ Series is a rackable residential steel fence line manufactured by Medallion Fence in Canada. It features 4 distinct styles (Alden, Aristocrat-DR, Cavalier-DR-SF, and Stanton), all built with fully welded construction and protected by the Armour-Shield™ corrosion-resistant finish system. The rackable design allows panels to follow sloped or uneven ground while maintaining structural integrity and visual consistency.

What styles are available in the Hillcrest™ Series?

The Hillcrest™ Series includes 4 fence styles: (1) Alden, (2) Aristocrat-DR, (3) Cavalier-DR-SF, and (4) Stanton. Each style offers a unique ornamental profile while sharing the same rackable residential steel construction and Armour-Shield™ finish. Technical specification sheets are available in both DWG and PDF formats for each style.

What does 'rackable' mean in the Hillcrest™ fence series?

A rackable fence panel can angle or pivot at the picket-to-rail connection, allowing the fence to follow the natural slope or grade changes of your property without stepping. This means the Hillcrest™ Series installs smoothly on hills and uneven terrain while maintaining a continuous, clean line along the top of the fence.

What is the Armour-Shield™ finish on Hillcrest™ fences?

Armour-Shield™ is Medallion Fence's proprietary steel finishing system. It combines hot-dip galvanization, a zinc phosphate conversion coating, and a UV-stable polyester powder topcoat to deliver industry-leading corrosion protection. This multi-layer system is specifically engineered to withstand demanding Canadian climates, including freeze-thaw cycles, salt exposure, and UV degradation.

What warranty covers the Hillcrest™ Series?

All Hillcrest™ Series fence panels are backed by Medallion Fence's 20-year limited warranty, which covers manufacturing defects and finish performance. Every product is manufactured in Canada and undergoes multi-point quality inspection before shipping. Medallion Fence's aluminum fence series carry a 25-year limited warranty.

Can I get CAD drawings for the Hillcrest™ fence panels?

Yes. Medallion Fence provides complete technical documentation for every Hillcrest™ style.
